I feel like chicken tonight…

I’m not the best cook in the world. In fact, until recently, I’ve always found it rather difficult. I also have a bad habit of taking things to heart when they go wrong - this combined with a fundamental lack of patience makes me a poor choice in the culinary domain.

Last night’s chicken mole tortillas with black beans, tomato and zucchini were a roaring success. That is, once we annihilated the lid of the HEB mole into an unrecognisable mess, in an effort to get it off without smashing the jar. Surely, you would think that an engineer and a scientist wouldn’t have issues with bourgeois grocery items? How wrong you are.

For tonight, I have prepared a Chicken And Apricot Mongolian Chicken Tagine, Accompanied By Fresh Vegetables On A Bed of Cous Cous (recipe here). Its meant to look like this, but as with any of my cooking attempts - we shall see, we shall see.
