This is my first US winter, and as such, it is highly evident I need to man the flipping heck up. It was FREEZING today. Yes, literally, ZERO DEGREES CELSIUS. So it has become apparent I am not so great at dealing with these kinds of temperatures. I have compiled a list of small but irritating items which are not helping with this issue.
1 - Chuck Taylors. These are not suitable winter shoes. I feel like I’m walking around on shortened stumps on legs balancing on rounded icecubes. Which is particularly ineffective when trying to run around with a hyperactive puppy.

2 - Spraypaint. The low temperatures are preventing me from progressing with several projects, because for some reason, my spraypaint is drying like a badly done, monochromatic tie dye.

3 - Duct tape. Half my world is held together with duct tape, and apparently it ceases to adhere below reasonable temperatures. Which means that gravity and I are getting along less pleasantly than usual.

4 - Hyperactive puppy. I’m fairly sure our pet is really just a particularly furry two year old with terrible scoliosis causing it to walk on all fours. And walking it around in the cold (especially sub zero morning temperatures) is not only unpleasant, it is torture. Luckily, she’s terribly cute which makes up for it immensely.

5 - Actually, I’ve run out of things that are a bit shit, everything else is pretty dandy, once you ignore the weather and its effects. In other news, IT MIGHT SNOW TOMORROW MORNING! I’m rather excited, actually.

Ok, so its Austin, it is NOT going to look like that.

Well that’s a bit shit. Add it to the list.
